This is a kangaroo.
This is kangaroo meat which I ate today (don't worry mine was cooked more thoroughly) It actually was not bad as long as I didn't think about the kangaroo that I pet at the Koala park two weeks ago...

and rob, as you're more likely to read this one instead of the reply on the last blog entry, I know you live in Saskatoon, and i'm very proud of you. However, i was referring to one of liz's friends... i just can't remember who it was... someone canadian...
To Elizabeth's friends, I'll make sure that Rob fills his suitcase with maple syrup products for you. Christmas morning he and Elizabeth could make you pancakes that you could top with the syrup.
Now why do all you have nicknames? Elizabeth's friends here (Sode, Tango, etc) and now her friends there (Ed, S'toon, Firthy, etc.) We parents spend nine months coming up with the perfect names for you (e.g. Elizabeth) and soon they are eliminated to become something weird (e.g. Liz, Moose).
they spend 9 months on Elizabeth's name and they spent about 2 seconds on mine. "Hey Bob, what should we name our son?" "Hell Brenda, just give him the same name as me."
That tells you which of us our parents love more...

my mum spent (and we were tlakign about this today at school), yeah she spent a good 3 or 4 months thinking and hoping that i was twin boys, so im sorry ELIZABETH'S MOM, but my parents, and apparently you until you had moose there, do not spend 9 months picking out our names

Rob doesn't quite have the story right about how he was named. Trust me, we thought about that one too.
Rob doesn't have a passport yet nor does he have a ticket to Australia, but what he does have are some jugs of maple syrup to bring along. I bought them today.

SARAH!!! Your living in Saskatoon now and you haven't come and visited me yet???? I'll be honest, I'm pretty hurt about that. I thought we were so close....I guess I was mistaken.
Ed, if Elizabeth told you that you weren't awesome when you talked to me, tell her to quit being rude to you. You were just fine. Elizabeth has always picked awesome friends here and I'm pretty sure she is doing the same thing there.
You had to eat a kangaroo, get the full experience.. but anyways I think what's really missing here is a tribute to Steve Irwin. I expect your next entry to include something about it kid!!!!

Second of all, Sarah and Rob you guys should totally hang. Sarah, Rob can pull for you and Rob, hanging with Sarah will just make you cooler (not that you're not cool, but let's face it, Sarah's cooler)
Third, mom I know Ed's awesome and also Mom you are now hipper because you used the phrase "awesome". That might make up for some of your jokes... :)
And finally kangaroo, like I said, not bad!

Also, i have to say that anyone living in saskatoon has to be pretty damn cool, as they live in the place with the coolest name ever... rob and sarah are awesome. So is liz's mom... coz you know...maple syrup and all...
