Mardi Gras (not New Orlens Style)...

February, March, and April are very exchangie months indeed. This past weekend we got together in Hornsby to go over safari stuff and practice for district conference which is this weekend. We got our safari bags and our itinerary. Pretty exciting stuff.

Me and
Moritz

Me and Jade
bonding.

And introducing exchange students in a nutshell...

Rasmus

Kirk

Maggie

If you know these exchangies, you know why it's them in a nutshell... just joking with Maggie though, she's one awesome American.

They're
holding
hands (he he)

Stephan
and Barry
dancing

Now we're not telling Rotarians this, but I went to Mardi Gras on the weekend. My pictures suck because we were inside and there was heaps of reflection on the windows, but believe you me, it was fantastic in the over-the-top way. (I wouldn't post the pics, but mom told me to, and I am obedient)

Mr. Suicide
man who we
thought would
fall, but he
let us down.

Basically it was really good.

And I think maybe Raeanne should be the one in Australia instead of me; she keeps hitting on everyone. I mean let's be honest here, I don't hit on anyone. I'm a good exchangie.

Quote of the day comes from Mardi Gras. Mom may not like it, but it was by far the cleanest thing that was said all night: "You don't deserve casual sex."

And dearest Elisabeth, do you realise that you were indeed quoting yourself? hehe

It was probably a fair call, but raises the question of What do I deserve?

I love the photo of steph, kirk and (was it rasmus?) holding hands. Very appropriate for the day it was taken ;)

Peace out all.

P.S. FIRST COMMENT!

Thanks Candace... appreciated on the nicknames. It's not fair, my name works so well... we could go Rob's route: Elizabutt or the ever popular Lizard-Breath
And I'll figure out what you deserve *threatening glance*

Simon, when you misspelled Elizabeth's name like that, it went from being worth 23 in Scrabble to being only 14!

When Elizabeth was born, her uncle Cam had a kinder nickname for her: Littlebit.

I still like Bum Bum Head best. Anyways, I swear Elizabeth, one of these days I am going to call you during your school lunch hour. I'm just not home very often.

By the way, I'm sure all you Aussies were just as devestated as I was when the Sydney Kings got knocked out of the NBL playoffs. I can't imagine how happy Ed is that the Brisbane Bullets are in the Grand Final right now.

Mom, I'm impressed that you know the scrabble scores just like that! I can see where Bessy gets it! (haha liz, only joking... i'll try not to call you that)

Peace out.

Simon (7 points), doesn't (7 points) everyone (14 points) automatically (20 points) tally (8 points) Scrabble (14 points) points (8 points)?

sorry mom, you know that "simon" and "Scrabble" would not count in Scrabble as they are proper names

I am a little upset by the fact that 'scabble' doesn't get you any points in Scrabble

"doesn't" wouldn't either. When the band and choir kids are in Minneapolis, my leftover advanced kids and I are going to have a big tournament.

i had to delete a comment---it had too many typos for a geek to stand
scrabble is a game nerds play when runescape isnt working- also like 500
they are the best games in the world
what game do the brisbane bullets play? i know brisbane lions, brisbane broncos--- but who the hell are the brisbane bullets?
there was going to be a gold coast(near brisbane) something team called the pirates, and that would have made me happy, but then they called themseves the dolphins or tridants or something not as cool as pirates

You shouldn't engourage my mom when it comes to Scrabble. otherwise when you come to Weyburn you'll miss out on our sprawling metropolis because you'll be in my kitchen... playing Scrabble
(not that I don't love Scrabble, 'cause I do. Best famine game ever)
